The Dad’s of Warrandyte Primary enjoyed a fantastic Father’s Day Breakfast last Friday.

…complete with sausage sizzle, coffee and ball games!

Working Beeeeeee! Sunday 10th September

Come along and help make our school as wonderful as it can beeeeeee!!

Sunday 10th Spetmeber. Morning tea will be provided (and wonderful!), so let the office know that you can make it for catering purposes. Bring along any gardening tools that may be handy.

It would be great to see some fresh faces at this event. It’s really rewarding to be part of a working bee team, and seeing your efforts help to make our school as great as it can be!. Children love to come to the school outside of their routine days, and really get a lot from from helping make our school great. See you there!!

This working bee aims to build an enclosure to house the school rubbish bins and revitalising the vegie garden ……but if that doesn’t inspire you, there’s always plenty of other gardening and maintenance to keep you busy!

Our next Stepping Stones Gathering is Friday 25th August.

FITNESS FANATICS!

Children enjoy a snapshot of our PMP Program, with our amazing PE teacher, Sally Freemantle. PMP assists younger students to build on their gross and fine motor skills.

Warrandyte Primary School’s Stepping Stone Gatherings aim to create a great ‘stepping stone’ to assist your child with their transition to school.

The gatherings are for all 3, 4 & 5 year olds and are free of charge.
Each gathering occurs from 2.15pm to 3.15pm.

Our new oval has been completed! The students of Warrandyte Primary School are having a great time on their new, artificial turf school oval. What a wonderful effort by all involved. Well done.

Warrandyte Festival 2017

This year’s Warrandyte Festival will be held on the weekend of 24 – 26th of March. This is the 40th Anniversary of the Festival, and our theme for Saturday’s parade is “Getting back to 1977″. So that means high waisted flares, bodyshirts and big hair. And that’s just for the boys. Think Abba, KC and the Sunshine Band or Fleetwood Mac. Or some of the big movies of 1977 might be the inspiration, such as the original (Episode IV) Star Wars, Saturday Night Fever or Close Encounters of the Third Kind.

Building Upgrade for Warrandyte Primary School

The building is empty and works begin term 4.

The creation of larger classroom spaces with flexible learning areas, will continue the school’s goal to personalise learning through an inquiry process.

Grand Opening of the Cooking Room

The Cooking Club welcomed Mark Challen, manager of the Warrandyte Community Bank to officially open the new cooking room. TheWarrandyte Community Bank sponsored $4,000 for the Working with Special Kids Program and has given $24,000 in
sponsorship/funding to date.
