
Specialist Programs
Four specialist programs. One rich primary school experience.
Every student receives weekly specialist teaching in Performing Arts, Visual Arts, Physical Education and AUSLAN, with additional opportunities to perform, compete, exhibit and create.
The specialist week
Four hours of specialist learning each week.
Each class has one hour in each specialist area every week. The programs complement classroom learning while giving students dedicated time to move, perform, make, communicate and discover new strengths.
Performing Arts
Music, drama, dance and performance build confidence, creativity and collaboration. Students sing, play instruments, improvise, rehearse and perform for authentic audiences.

Visual Arts
Students create with drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking, clay, textiles and mixed media while learning to respond to artists, cultures and visual traditions.

Physical Education
PE develops fundamental movement skills, fitness, teamwork, sportsmanship and confidence through games, skill development, carnivals and representative pathways.

Sport pathways
Students can progress from school events to district, division, region and state competition through School Sport Victoria pathways in athletics, swimming, cross country and selected sports.

AUSLAN
All students learn Australian Sign Language, building communication skills and understanding of Deaf culture through signing, fingerspelling, stories, performance and conversation.
One hour each week

Building communication and belonging
AUSLAN (Australian Sign Language) is taught across every year level, giving students a shared language of expression that strengthens empathy, inclusion and connection with the Deaf community. Through signing, fingerspelling, stories and song, students develop genuine fluency and confidence.

Productions are a major part of school life, giving students from Prep to Year 6 the experience of rehearsing and performing together. Senior students can take on featured roles and leadership responsibilities across cast, crew and design.

Instrumental tuition
Optional music tuition is available at school through external providers. Families enrol and manage fees directly with the provider.
