In Term 2 we are exploring the idea of, “One World – Many Stories’. This unit aims to introduce students to the concept of a story, our connections to stories, and what shapes them, for example individual experiences. Students will explore various ways a story can be expressed and how stories can help us to learn. Students will also look at their individual backgrounds, those of others and explore our connections with one another. Later in the unit the students will be visited by a member of the Indigenous community to share some stories and interact with the students through music, paintings and voice. We look forward to exploring the various wonderings and inquiries the students lead us through this term.
